IM=X® Cardio Hybrid Workouts
The IM=X® Cardio Hybrids (Jog Boards and Cycle Reformer Classes)
This course can be divided into two sections: 1) Cycle/Xercizer Hybrids and; 2) Jog Board choreography. The formats can be programmed to range in length from 30-90 minutes; and can be taught alone or in combination with other programs (hybrid workouts). These challenging routines provide cardiovascular benefits and intense calorie burning to the participant.
To complete the IM=X Heart Rate Training Course, instructors must have a current CPR certification. The course comes with a 54-page instruction manual and provides step-by-step instructions and class formats. Additional reading is recommended. This course covers the following topics:
Principles of Heart Rate Training Rate of Perceived Exertion (RPE)
Cycling techniques such as positioning clients on the bike, increasing intensity through cadence or resistance, monitoring workouts by zone training
Jog Board Choreography
Note: Please study the IM=X Jog Board choreography in the Instructor Online Educational Area prior to class attendance.
Length: 2 days (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)
Can be taken via Skype.
Required Equipment: Mats, Rings, Jog Boards and Xercizers (note: Jog Boards ship UPS 30″ x 33″ x 3.5″)
Prerequisites: IM=X® Basic Certification
Practical Exam required.
