IM=X® Standing Platform Certification
The IM=X Standing Platform Certification adds even more variety to your IM=X repertoire by providing advanced IM=X Pilates Trainers with NEW workout routines using our exclusive Standing Platform attachment for the Xercizer. These standing routines add an element of balance, lower body intensity and improve spine stabilization. The Platform instruction manual includes photos, step-by-step instructions and suggested class formats.
The routines include 8 sequences that combine the IM=X stabilization techniques with lower body resistance. All formats are hybrids that begin with a basic Xercizer warm-up. The Platform portion of the workout begins with stabilization exercises to continue to warm up the entire body and abdominal core with movements such as abduction/adduction, squats and lunges that challenge the glutes, hips and thighs. The next sequences add 3- to 5- pound weights for upper body toning. The workout moves into difficult abdominal maneuvers such as the Inverted V and Knee Stabilization, and concludes with a stretch series that continues to improve balance, posture and alignment.
